During the last few weeks we have been receiving emails which indicate that the perceptive-solutions.co.uk domain is being given as the return address of SPAM emails. We do not, and never would, send unsolicited email communication.
When an email message cannot be delivered most email systems will inform the originator of the email about the problem which is what you want when you have misaddressed one of your outgoing emails. Spammers, who are sending 10's of thousands of emails at a time, do not waste their resources in receiving bounced email messages; instead they fake the sender of the email so that an innocent 3rd party receives the bounced messages and emails from annoyed spamees.
At present legal measures directed at spammers appear ineffective; Postini report that 10 out of every 12 email messages are SPAM. We recommend you use an email client with intelligent anti-spam filtering, such as Thunderbird, combined with any anti-spam filtering measures available through your ISP.

In an effort to track and stop email harvesters we have joined forces with Project Honey Pot. This site now contains "honey traps" which - although completely harmless to human visitors - can be used to identify and trace the harvesting robots.
