OpenOffice.org 2.0 Released
After a two year wait OpenOffice.org 2.0 has been officially released. With numerous enhancements OpenOffice.org 2.0 now offers unprecedented levels of compatibility with Microsoft Office applications.
What may prove to be of more significance is that OpenOffice.org 2.0 is the first open source office suite to support the OASIS OpenDocument standard.
The state of Massachusetts recently mandated the OpenDocument standard for productivity suites.
